Carrie L. Yamamoto is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio who has worked in the Accounting and Finance capacity for over eighteen years.
Carrie began her career while attending Ohio University in 1994 as a Cost Accountant at a large manufacturing company. After graduating from Ohio University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (major in Accounting) in 1996, she furthered her career at a large regional public accounting firm where she spent six years growing as a professional in Auditing, Reviewing, Small Business Compilations, Tax Preparation, Managing and Consulting. In 2002, Carrie moved on to the private sector working as a Regional Controller for a large privately held distribution company, which eventually merged with a large public company. During this merger, Carrie was promoted to the Due Diligence/Acquisition team of the public company assisting in all facets of public reporting.
In 2005, Carrie was on her way to starting her family. She was newly married with her first child on the way. Carrie always knew in the back of her mind as she started her career that she wanted to incorporate a career that works well with family. In 2005, a few short months before her first child entered this world, Carrie launched her own accounting firm known today as Moto Accounting and Consulting, LLC. Her goal was to be able to work as a Certified Public Accountant as well as work as a full-time mother. Here she is today, balancing work, family and life. She enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible riding her bike, running, hiking and most of all, spending time with her family.
Carrie has grown over the last several years into a full-service accountant at various levels. Carrie not only reviews, compiles and writes up financial statements and tax returns, she is also adept at implementing technological solutions as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. On another level, Carrie also partners with other local larger CPA firms to assist with various tasks such as preparing audit workpapers, reconciling bank activity, recording general journal entries...anything to make it easier and more efficient for the larger CPA firms.
Carrie will come to you! She works virtually, remotely and on-client-site. Carrie believes timing is everything. With a quick turnaround, clients can make better decisions. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come at less cost than larger accounting firms.
